This vintage-styled enamel mug, which features the iconic 1963 VW T1 Camper Van, is a nostalgic nod to the 1960s cultural icon and also a toast to future (outdoor) adventures. With a classic design, it is larger than a standard drinking mug.

What was to become (informally) known as the Bus, in America, and the Camper, in the UK, the Volkswagen Type 2 (Transporter, Kombi or Microbus, depending on body setup) was introduced in 1950 by Volkswagen. The cabover panel van was its second model and followed the Type 1 (the Beetle). Produced from 8 March 1950 through to 1967, the first, split windshield model was informally called the Microbus, Splitscreen, or Splittie. The luxury model, the Samba (Sunroof Deluxe or Deluxe Microbus) was produced from 1951. It was marketed as a tourer for the Alps but instead it became popular among hippies.
