Order Returns

At Thenadays, we want you to be happy with your purchase – we hope this will happen every time you buy from us, but, inevitably, there will be occasions when you need to return something we have sent out to you.

For those occasions, we offer a no risk, no-quibble, money-back guarantee.

If you need to return something you have bought, that’s ok; we want you to be happy, buy from us again and tell your friends – so just follow the instructions below and we’ll correct the problem as quickly as we can.

Return / Refunds / Exchanges

  • We offer refunds / replacements / exchanges on all items returned to us within 14 days of the delivery of the order to you. If this is not practical for some reason, please let us know and we will still try to help.

  • Christmas presents purchased / ordered on/after 01st September have special terms - refunds/exchanges are offered on items returned / received by us before or on the following 31st of January.

  • Refunds will be credited to the same account / method of payment as the payment for the original order (unless you tell us otherwise). Please allow 14 days after posting for any refund to be credited to you.

  • If you are asking us to exchange the item for another, and the value of the replacement is greater than the item returned, we will contact you regarding the relevant payment.

What Can Be Returned / Refunded / Exchanged?

  • We will refund/replace/exchange the item(s) and their original carriage cost to you plus your return postage cost if:

    • You have been sent the incorrect item

    • The item has been damaged in transit [Please phone / email us within 5 days of receipt – if possible sending photos of the damage to us via the Contact & Connect Page]

    • The Item is faulty (except where this reflects normal ‘wear and tear’ or user misuse)

  • We will refund/exchange the cost paid for the item(s) and their original carriage cost to you only if:

    • The item is not faulty or damaged

    • You have changed your mind

    • The item is no longer required

    • The quality of the item is not to your liking

  • There are some items we cannot accept for refund or exchange (unless they are faulty or damaged):

    • Sealed computer software, (audio) CDs, DVDs which have been opened

    • Personalised Items

    • Made-to-order Items

    • Self-assembly Items

    • Perishable Items / Food

    • Hygiene Sensitive Items (underwear, earrings, bedding etc)

  • If any goods which form part of a bundle offer are returned for a refund, the remaining items will revert to their normal catalogue price. You will be refunded the balance amount accordingly.

  • Some of our suppliers make a charge to process the return of items they have despatched to you directly (on our behalf) – such as for the return of some large size / high-value items. This charge will be deducted from any refund you will receive – please contact us for further information regarding any large size / high-value item you are intending to return.

  1. The Returns Form / Label

    1. A copy of the form / label should have been included with your order (inside the packaging).

    2. If you don’t have this, you can download it here >> Returns Form / Label <<.

    3. If you don’t have a printer, you can send all the information via the Contact & Connect Page with the date you are sending or have sent the parcel back to us.

  2. Completing the Returns Form.

    1. Please complete all of the details requested on the Returns Form – including your Order Number, the reason for the return and any action you require from us. Note that we will be unable to process your Return without the Order Number.

    2. Part One of the Returns Form acts as the Label for the return parcel. Tear this off and attach it to the outside of your parcel.

    3. Part Two of the Returns Form (with your details on) needs to go INSIDE the parcel with the item(s) you’re returning – so make sure you put this inside before you seal up the parcel (this sounds obvious, but it’s easily forgotten).

  3. Wrapping up your Parcel

    1. Returned items (and their packaging) returned MUST be received in an original, unused, undamaged, unopened and saleable condition.

    2. Please note, you are responsible for the condition of the goods until they reach us, so make sure the item/items are returned either in the original packaging, or in packaging which is suitable to reduce the possibility of any damage while in transit.

  4. Posting your Parcel:

    1. As you are responsible for the goods until they reach us, it is important to obtain a Certificate of Posting from the Post Office – that will allow you to make a claim to Royal Mail if they happen to lose or damage it during its journey back to us. Proof of posting is not proof of our receipt.

    2. Most parcels can be returned easily by Royal Mail. Simply take the parcel to your local Post Office and pay the appropriate postage charge.

    3. You should consider using a signed-for service, or taking out additional parcel insurance if returning goods valued over £30.00.

    4. If the parcel is over 5kg in weight, please Contact Us for advice on returning large or heavy item to us.
