Donald Duck has been in more films than any other Disney character (over 150), and is also the most published comic book character in the world (other than superheroes). An anthropomorphic white duck with yellowish bill, legs, and feet, he usually wears a blue sailor shirt and cap with a red bow tie, he was created in 1934 at Walt Disney Productions (first appearing in 1934 in The Wise Little Hen). Well-known for his much-imitated and barely-intelligible speech, along with his rather intemperate personality, he became a comic foil to Mickey Mouse and often appeared as part of a comic trio with Mickey and Goofy. His separate starring roles (since 1937) have additionally involved his love interest, Daisy Duck, and his nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
